Summer is here and already we're starting to see a trickle of micro - and some macro! - injuries.
Micro:
🍫 Chips from biting on refrigerated chocolate
🧊 Enamel cracks from 'thermal shock'
🥵 Dry mouth from dehydration (less saliva 🟰 more bacteria)
Macro:
🚴 Fractured teeth from cycling accidents
🏊♂️ Broken teeth from swimming pool antics
🥊 Knocked out teeth from um, er, altercations
It happens. But, don't worry, we're here to help fix things up.

You really shouldn't wait for something to feel 'off', you should have regular checks, but, if you have any of these symptoms, it's most definitely time to give us a call...
🚨 1 Severe or Persistent Tooth Pain
👉 Could indicate infection, nerve damage, or an abscess
😷 2 Swelling in Gums, Face, or Jaw
👉 This can be a spreading infection - don’t delay
🩸 3 Bleeding Gums
👉 Early sign of gum disease, which can lead to tooth loss if ignored
🤢 4 Bad Taste or Persistent Bad Breath
👉 Often linked to infection or decay under the surface
🦷 5 Loose or Moving Teeth
👉 Not normal in adults - can signal advanced gum disease

Yes. Our road (and therefore our parking!) is now open. Finally.
Remember, if you park on the street, the blue zone parking charges are now back in operation from 1 April.

Recently, we've noticed that a large percentage of our patients are female. Some days, it's as high as 80%. Why is this?! 👭

Despite the best efforts of the Calvià maintenance department - yes, we are OPEN!! 😊
We realise these roadworks are painful (for us, for you) but keep your eyes on the prize: a beautiful new main street with pretty trees and electric car charging points. 🔌
In the meantime, we are in contact with the 'Jefe de Obras' (we had to speak with them again today) to ask them to keep our access as clean and clear as possible. 👷♂️

NEW PARKING REGULATIONS IN SANTA PONSA
From 1 December 2025, a temporary Blue Zone is in place on Avenida del Rey Jaime I (between the Eroski roundabout and the beach roundabout) due to ongoing roadworks.
What do you need to know?
• You can park for free for up to 2 hours and 30 minutes.
• A ticket must be displayed inside your vehicle.
• Tickets are free of charge and can be obtained from the parking meter machines.
• These regulations apply from now to 31 March 2026.

Calvia Council is doing its second phase of 𝙧𝙤𝙖𝙙𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙨 in Santa Ponsa this winter. From NOW, there will be 𝗡𝗢 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦 to our private parking. Pedestrian access is open as usual.
𝗦𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: park opposite (no fee for blue parking after 1 November) and cross the street, or use the public parking behind Block House / Padrino Pizzeria and walk up (three or four minutes’ walk).
Please allow 𝙚𝙭𝙩𝙧𝙖 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 so as not to be late for your appointment.
Apologies (on behalf of the Council!) for the inconvenience.
